About Our School
Linton Country School is quite close to Palmerston North, but we are really in the country.
We are a small school. Our school is neat. We have lots of room to play in our playground.
We have a back paddock where we have animals, and where we build huts.
We don’t wear a school uniform all the time, but we do have a bright blue and yellow sports uniform.
PINGAO PLANTING
Our Pingao planting team
On Friday 21 August 2009 the seniors went Pingao planting at Foxton Beach Estuary. We grew the Pingao plants at school as part of our Environmental Programme. Together with the Department of Conservation we have been planting on sand dunes for three years now.
We enjoy going to the beach. When we finish our planting we get to play.
Art Work
We do art work every Tuesday at school. We have filled our class room up with art work. Art work is my favourite topic at school.
Signed Geordie This is some of the art work at our school.
Our class did these with their eyes closed.
