Our school has two rabbits called Snowy and Bella.They are girls and are very friendly.We often have ponies, sheep and alpaca in our back paddock.Our cat Smokey is  grey the colour of smoke. In recent years we have had two guinea pigs Bonnie  and Clyde. They were cute but they both died.

Pet and Craft Day

On Saturday 1 November Linton Country School held the annual Pet and Craft day.

Despite the uncertain weather there was a good turn out of families and community members. There were four judging rings, with lamb’s calves, goats and pets all receiving the once over from judges.

Hockey results for the year so far

image We have won every game except for one draw.

Cross Country

On Friday 6 June the Fitzherbert Cluster Schools ran their cross country at the Kahuterawa Reserve behind the Army Camp housing area.

All the Linton Country School students who entered ran their best and some received placings in their year groups.

Fancy Dress Night

The annual Linton Country School Fancy Dress and Folk Dancing night will be held on Thursday 19 June.

Held in the community hall dancing will start at 7pm, with the children parading their costumes.

After the folk dancing the PTA will hold a cake and bottle auction as a fundraiser.

Everyone is invited to attend this fun social night. There will be a prize for the best adult costume!

Pet and Craft Day

image When: Saturday 27 October.

Where: Linton Country School, 77 Akers Rd.

Time: From 12pm.

Come and experience a little bit of country living.

Have a pony ride, pet a lamb or a calf in the animal nursery.

Sausage sizzle and café.

Cake and Plant stalls.

At 1pm the Pet Show will begin with judging to find the best Lamb, Calf, and Pet in the school.

We would love to see you there.

Open Day — November 5th
